Corporate Community Investment in the NCIE is creating opportunities for young Indigenous people to follow their aspirations and realise their potential.
Corporate Community InvestmentThe Centre for Social ImpactThe Centre for Social Impact is providing assistance with developing an impact measurement framework to enable the NCIE to determine its Social Return on Investment and report on outcomes.
CISCO
The NCIE is currently working with CISCO on the creation of the first CISCO Networking Academy targeted specifically at Indigenous Australians. The Academy will be run on site at the NCIE and provide IT based courses to local participants. In addition, the program provides training and employment opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to engage in the delivery of the courses. Support from CISCO will include the training of staff to deliver the courses.
FreehillsFreehills provides the NCIE with pro-bono legal advice.
GoodmanThe NCIE will soon be opening the NCIE Homework Centre. This program will provide local young people with a space and resources to facilitate the successful completion of school work as well as learning in general. Our computer lab has internet access and space for young people to come after school, have a healthy snack, review and complete their homework with supervision and additional assistance from volunteers. Goodman has confirmed their support for the administration and supervision of the Centre. Goodman is also supporting the NCIE’s facilities maintenance plan and carrying out all maintenance at the NCIE for the next three years. Read more about Goodman's support of Indigenous excellence.

ING Direct
QANTASQantas has committed to providing contra flights to the NCIE to support the delivery of the Constitutional Recognition Forum in March 2012. The Forum will bring 96 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians, twelve from each state and territory to the NCIE for three days to learn more about Constitutional Recognition and Qantas will cover the flights for the participants to travel to Sydney for the forum.

Telstra Foundation
The NCIE recently received a significant grant over three years from the Telstra Foundation to develop an innovative and engaging online portal for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The Telstra Foundation has provided funds to employ an Online Engagement Coordinator to lead the project, and ensure it is developed in consultation and in partnership with the young Indigenous people for whom it is designed.
The NCIE also values the support of the Commonweath Bank of Australa for supporting NAIDOC Family Day and Waterfield Consulting for their strategic planning advice.
