Pathway Programs

What types of programs we do?

The National Centre of Indigenous Excellence (NCIE) offers innovative programs which include:

o Arts and Culture - We encourage participation and development in artistic pursuits such as visual and performing arts, while instilling pride in the identification and promotion of Indigenous culture.

o Health and Wellness - We provide the information and skills necessary for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians to make informed choices about leading healthy lifestyles.

o Learning and Innovation - We foster talent and improve educational outcomes using the latest technologies.

o Sport and Recreation - We deliver programs to promote healthy lifestyles and skills development through participation in sport and recreation.

The NCIE collaborates with Pathway Partners to deliver programs that utilise our world-class facilities. Examples of our Pathway Programs include AIME's learning centre for local Indigenous students and NASCA's Careers and Aspirations Camps.

If your organisation is interested in partnering with the NCIE or is interesting in being involved in the delivery or sponsorship of a program, please contact our Business and Program Development Manager Carla McGrath at: carla.mcgrath@ncie.org.au

By providing access to our world-class facilities along with our qualified and enthusiastic staff, we are committed to ensuring that every child involved in our programs has an enjoyable and valuable experience in a safe and caring environment. All of our programs are run in line with our core values of excellence, growth, inclusiveness and integrity and are characterised by honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.
